No sense of humour required. No jokes. Just the radical act of laughing in a room full of people.
Joy is something you can create simply by practising it. Come laugh together with us!
4:30pm: ALIGN | A Heart-Centred Experience Through Breathwork, Sound, Movement & Creative Journalling
With Amanda Ling, Multidisciplinary Healing Arts Practitioner | Musician | Author | Mentor
When life feels overwhelming, uncertain, or stretched beyond capacity, finding moments of stillness can become a powerful place to begin again. This session invites participants into a gentle yet meaningful space to slow down, reconnect, and create clarity from within.
Through heart-centred breathwork, sound healing, movement, and creative journalling, this immersive experience offers simple embodied practices designed to support calm, reflection, and self-awareness during periods of stress, transition, or change.
Participants will be guided through moments of movement, breath, and creative exploration before settling into a restorative meditative sound bath featuring the resonant tones of Tibetan Singing Bowls layered with ambient music to encourage integration, inner stillness, and renewal.
Whether navigating a season of change, moving through a personal crossroads, or simply seeking space to pause and reset, ALIGN offers an opportunity to return to yourself and move forward with greater clarity, calm, and intention.
Dr Alan HJ Chan Well-Being Conference 2026 (Re:Define Success Conference Series)
The 2026 conference theme, “The Power of Enough – Redefining Success Across Generations,” highlights how well-being and success evolve across life stages. The Me → We structure guides participants through an intergenerational journey, beginning with personal grounding (Me) before expanding into shared care, belonging, and community connection (We). This mirrors how well-being radiates outward: from self-awareness to relational care, and ultimately to societal impact.
I will be presenting on DAY 1 during Breakout Programmes:
Me: Well-Being in Practice
Participants will have the opportunity to explore a range of presentations and interactive sessions across curated themes, offering both insights and practical experiences.
Grounding Circle: A Sanctuary for the Soul Grounding Circle @ The OTR Academy Club
Grounding Circle – with Amanda Ling
*Kindly take note that this is a 3-part session happening on Thursdays, 23 Jul, 20 Aug, 17 Sep
In a fast-paced world that constantly demands our attention, it is easy to feel disconnected, overwhelmed, and swept away by the noise. The Grounding Circle is your invitation to pause, breathe, tune in, and return to center.
This series is a dedicated safe space and modern sanctuary — a gentle container where you can show up exactly as you are, with no expectations or pressure to perform. Through guided mindfulness, soothing breathwork, light soundbaths and shared reflection, we will collectively drop out of our busy minds and anchor ourselves back into the present moment.
Whether you are looking to release stress, process your week, or simply sit in the comforting presence of a supportive community, this circle is here to hold space for you. Come to gather, stay for the calm, and leave feeling deeply rooted, re-centered, and restored.
Your (virtual) mat is ready. Your space is held. Welcome home.

About the OTR Academy Club
The OTR Academy Club is created as a branded community space of the OTR Academy where wellbeing practitioners, volunteers and the public can continue personal and professional growth with holistic wellbeing as the overarching theme — through ongoing events, peer support circles, and workshops. The structure is flexible, allowing for multiple thematic circles (e.g., for parents, teachers, career, etc), and emphasizes shared learning, applications, and the development of practical wellbeing skills. We want to create an environment where each group has a clear structure and a safe space for both practice and peer learning.
Our circles revolve around four main themes:
DEVELOP: Personal development through understanding ourselves — our strengths and blind spots — in order to continue growing with clarity and purpose.
CONNECT: Mastering the science and art of communicating with compassion so that we thrive in the relationships that matter.
LEAD: Level up leadership skill sets with focus on leading with purpose and connection in the age of AI.
BELONG: Bringing community and collaboration to the forefront by sharing access to a large network of professional mentors, social impact leaders, mental health practitioners and experts.
Our purpose is to inspire individuals in their personal and professional development journeys and foster deeper connections. Through deep sharing and guided reflections, attendees will learn how to thrive through stories, tools and strategies, as we work together and support each other as a community in our move towards a holistic transformation.
